You didn't start your business to fight with software. I audit, build and manage lean, budget-friendly digital systems, so you save money on bloated subscriptions, save hours on backend plumbing, and get back to your zone of genius.
Marie, founder of Tech Off My Plate
"Tech help" can mean almost anything. Here's a flavour of the kind of projects I get stuck into, so you can see where you might fit in.
A client wanted to understand whether her tech actually matched her business. We reviewed her services and strategy end to end, mapped out her real customer journey, and used that to work out exactly which tools she needed and which ones she didn't.
A new domain, but no way to use it properly. I connected it to Google Workspace and got her professional business email up and running, so she could stop sending client emails from a personal Gmail.
We worked out the best booking tool for her business requirements, then I set up and configured the booking page, synced her calendar, built out her services, and integrated payments, all so clients could book and pay themselves.
An audit of every tool a client was paying for, with automation added so the tools that were actually needed could talk to each other. The result: a chunky monthly subscription for a "premium" product she didn't even need was finally cancelled.
From idea to live: I helped create a lead magnet, worked out where to save and host it, built the landing page, and set up the email sequence that follows up with every new subscriber automatically.
A complete build from scratch: where to host the videos, how to structure the programme, every setting, page and link configured, right through to full creation and launch day.
If it touches the backend of your business, it's probably something I can help with, including connecting domains, business email setup, MailerLite workflows, booking pages, Zapier automations, Google Workspace, customer journey mapping, tool audits and full business tech reviews.
Don't see your problem listed? Email me what you're stuck on and I'll tell you honestly whether I can help. In most cases, I can.

I've spent 25 years in the tech industry, supporting tools, systems and clients in every capacity going. Simply put, I have the know-how (and the actual love) for the backend bits you probably hate.
Five years ago, I built my own health business. Today I manage the systems for all my associates so they can completely ignore the tech and focus on delivering their 1:1 coaching. Alongside that, in my freelance work I run a successful business club of 100+ members, where I mentor solopreneurs and support them weekly with their tech setup, systems and tools. My core focus is removing the fear of technology so they can run their businesses with confidence.
This is my why. I love seeing a business skyrocket the moment I remove the tech blockers holding it back.
More often than not, I find my clients are over-subscribed to expensive software that still isn't meeting their needs, so my setups usually end up saving them money in the long run, too.
Solopreneurs and small business owners, typically 1 to 4 person teams. That includes consultants, coaches, therapists and other service-based business owners who run most of their business themselves and need their tech to just work without becoming a second job.
We hop on a 60-minute video call and go through whatever's slowing you down, whether that's one tool, a workflow, or your whole setup. You'll leave with a clear picture of what's going on and, where possible, 1 to 2 quick fixes done there and then.
That's completely normal, and exactly what the Tech Audit is for. You don't need to diagnose the problem yourself. Tell me what feels hard or what isn't working, and I'll help you figure out what's actually going on underneath it.
Booking is instant. Pick a slot that works for you using the booking link, and you'll get a confirmation straight away.
A Tech Audit is about diagnosis and quick wins. A VIP Half-Day or Full-Day is dedicated execution time, used for building or fixing something properly, like a booking system setup, a full tool migration, or launching an online programme.
I work across most of the popular small business tools, including booking platforms, email marketing tools like MailerLite, Google Workspace, Zapier automations, and website builders. If you're not sure whether your tool stack is covered, just ask.
If you've already got your systems set up and just want someone keeping things running, updated, and ticking over, the retainer is built for that. It covers maintenance and small edits rather than new builds or projects.
Yes. Most of my work happens over video call and screen share, so I can support you wherever you're based.
I'm based in Essex, and depending on your location and the package you choose, in-person support can sometimes be arranged. It's always a bespoke discussion between us, and any travel costs are added on top. Just ask if this is something you'd like to explore.
Send a few details and I'll get back to you, usually within a day or two.
